About the event

How often have you thought... "I really NEED a massage/facial/reike, but I dont have the time/money" to get it? Most of us know in our hearts how good these treatments are for our hearts, souls, skins, and bodies. We know right after we get them that it's worth it because we feel better about ourself, healthier, more vibrant. We promise ourselves we will do it more often. but then, the next week or month we go back to "I cant afford it." There is a sense that these things are luxuries and that they dont really add value to our lives.

But self worth is more than just how much money we have in the bank. Self worth is how I feeling about myself. How much I cherish myself. How much I value myself. And our self care is a direct reflection of that worth. Its true that facials and massages arent free and that we have to consider the cost. But just because something is luxurious doesnt mean it's not medicine. Our skin and bodies work hard for us every day. Our skin and bodies take a beating every day. And then, just when they are feeling tired and depleted from all their hard work, we think terrible things about our skin and bodies. We talk to them in ways we would never talk to friends or loved ones.

So what would happen to our self worth if we really truly cherished our skin and body, devoted resources to it and took good care of it. How would that impact our self worth? We have asked Amanda Atwell, owever of Mirabella Aesthetics to talk about how skin care and self worth go hand in hand. She might even have some insider tips for us!
